With a tone and delivery more akin to NPR than heaven, Pastor Brooks started to preach, and his opening words were nothing short of miraculous.
Rather than starting with scripture, Pastor David "Bumbling" Brooks started with reality TV. Rather than starting with the gospel, Pastor David "Bumbling" Brooks started with a detailed discussion of Wicked Tuna, a reality TV show on the National Geographic Channel. Rather than start with serious matters, Pastor David "Bumbling" Brooks started with something silly, and herein rests the heart and mind of Rome First Baptist.
